These additional terms govern certain product-specific features, promotional offers, guarantees, refund policies, and licensed content associated with Helix products, services, and programs (the “Helix Products”). Your purchase or use of a Helix Product constitutes acceptance of these additional terms. They are incorporated by reference into, and form part of, the Helix Terms of Use. In the event of a conflict between these additional terms and any promotion-specific terms, the promotion-specific terms will control with respect to that promotion. In all other respects, the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy remain in full force and effect. Helix is herein referred to as the “Company.”
Sneak Peek
The Company may offer a free preview of the Helix Products. Only one free preview is permitted per person. You may not create additional accounts (such as through the use of pseudonyms and alternate email accounts) for purposes of claiming additional free previews. The Company reserves the right to terminate services to anyone who violates this provision.
Refunds and Cancellations
Books and other non-electronic Helix Products components purchased from the Company are non-refundable for any reason, at any time.
Prior to the start of the online access period, you may cancel your Helix Bar Review® enrollment for any reason and receive a full refund, minus a $150 cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued after the online access period begins.
If a third party (Bill My Firm, etc.) made payment for your course, that third party is entitled to any refund issued.

Helix Guarantee
Bar exam results, bar exam passage, or any other academic or professional results are not guaranteed by virtue of your purchase and/or use of the Helix Products. Notwithstanding, the Helix Guarantee offers you one free repeat of the next administration of the bar review course for anyone using Helix for the first time and who completes at least 75% of the course (subject to the terms and conditions below). New books are not included in the Helix Guarantee but can be purchased at cost, plus shipping and any applicable taxes, for the then-current retail price.
You are entitled to a free repeat of the course purchased, if you meet all the following criteria:
- You are a first-time user of a Helix comprehensive bar review program (Helix UBE, Helix California, Helix Florida, or Helix NextGen);
- You purchased the Helix Products at least six (6) weeks prior to the Bar Exam date;
- You completed 75+% of the Helix Products course prior to the Bar Exam date;
- You fully completed the following benchmark coursework (Helix UBE, Helix California, and Helix Florida only):
- Three of four MBE Practice Exams;
- The MBE portion of the Simulated Exam; and
- Earn a score higher than zero on three graded assignments;
- • You fully completed the following benchmark coursework (Helix NextGen only):
- Simulated Exam #1;
- Three of six "Additional Practice" Sets; and
- Earn a score higher than zero on three graded assignments;
- You failed the Bar Exam or provided evidence of registration for the Bar Exam and valid reason(s) for failure to sit for the exam; and
- You use the free repeat for the next administration of the same jurisdiction's exam.
(Note: If your jurisdiction changes from UBE/state-specific exam to NextGen UBE for the next administration, you are entitled to switch courses as well.)
To claim the free course, you must notify us at [email protected] by providing your name and account email address. You must email a copy of your official bar exam results within 30 days of the date on the notice of failure. Failure to do so within 30 days waives your right to claim this Helix Guarantee. Once all information has been received and reviewed, the Company will determine your eligibility.
Helix MBE is a supplemental program, and this guarantee does not apply.
Helix Promotions and Vouchers
All Helix promotional offerings and vouchers are subject to change or cancellation without notice. No cash value and not transferable. Only one voucher code can be used per purchase.

A Helix comprehensive course purchase includes access to coaching services during the applicable course access period.
